The portfolio shows it. Nothing says it.
AI engines answer "who should I hire" by extracting facts: services, areas, credentials, years, process, price range, proof. The site is written for a human who already trusts the brand. Across all 21 pages the word "license" appears zero times, "insured" zero, "kitchen" only inside image filenames, "FAQ" zero, "warranty" zero.
Three umbrellas, no landing pages
Services = Whole-Home Remodeling, New Home Builds, Design Collaboration, 246 words total. No page exists for kitchen remodel, bathroom remodel, additions and ADUs, outdoor living, or commercial (the Crosby arena and Dig It coffee shop prove the capability). Competitors average 20 to 56 service URLs.
"Award-winning" ×22, award named ×0
No license number, no bond or insurance line, no "since 2019", no Best of Houzz badge, no BBB seal, no BusinessRate badge explained (one image on the contact page), no "Gold Winner Best of Las Vegas 2023" claim (found on a third-party page; could not verify, so do not publish until the certificate is in hand).
12 case studies with no case
Each project page has 25 to 99 photos and 220 to 320 words, mostly room captions. None states location (neighborhood), scope, square footage, duration, budget range, the designer and photographer credited, or what problem was solved. Five pages have no meta description and a one-word title. These are the pages AI engines would love to quote if they had facts.
No FAQ, no blog, no video
Zero question-format content ("How much does a whole-home remodel cost in Las Vegas?", "Do I need a permit in Henderson?", "How long does a kitchen take?"). No blog or guides. No YouTube channel, even though the site itself runs three videos. YouTube mentions are the single strongest correlate of AI citations in Ahrefs' 75,000-brand study.
The About page is the best page
Ryan Cave (founder, ~20 years, University of Oregon) and Brian Campbell (fourth-generation carpenter, 25+ years) are real, named and photographed, with ten community partners listed (Make-A-Wish, Maxx Crosby Foundation, Opportunity Village). Add Person schema, link to LinkedIn, and this page becomes an entity anchor.
One path, no phone in the header
Every page ends in "Request a Consultation" to a form (good) that lands on /thank-you (good, but that page is indexable). The phone number appears once on the whole site (Contact page, as text, not a tap-to-call link). The footer has the address but no phone, no hours, no license. Add a click-to-call and the NAP block site-wide.
